Seasons greetings folks! Shawnell and Will recently tied the knot at the historic First Congregational Church. It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony. Soooo many teary eyes lol. I love when you can feel the love. The reception at the Floyd Room had a skyline view of Atlanta and it was so much fun! It does not get better than that. I am so glad I was part of their union. Congrats guys. I wish you a blessed and happy married life! Check out some images from their amazing wedding. Enjoy!

December 13, 2013 | showcase, Surprise Proposals | 1 Comment
Hello There! Surprise proposals never get old. In fact I truly love being part of them. This surprise proposal was coordinated internationally! lol. Robin lives in the UK so planning for this surprise proposal was not exactly easy. Luckily, Robin had two future sister-in-laws to help him in making it all possible. They reached out to me and we got the ball rolling. The weather cooperated and the proposal was a success! Jenny was completely surprised. Congrats guys on your engagement. I wish you both the best!! Check out some images from the day. Enjoy!

Good day folks. It’s been a busy last few weeks so blogging has been a challenge. However, I am excited to share this amazing Nigerian-Cameroonian wedding. Ama (Nigerian) and Collins (Cameroonian) -Check out their e-session– had a beauty, elegant, fun and well planned wedding. The ceremony took place at the Holy Catholic Church Atlanta and Reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. I really enjoyed being part of this wedding. There were so many priceless moments throughout the day. It’s interesting how it does not matter what country you are from when it comes to music and having a good time. Both Nigerians and Cameroonians partied like there was no tomorrow! lol. Congrats Ama & Collins! I wish you both a blessed and wonderful married life. Enjoy some images from the day!

November 8, 2013 | Engagement Sessions, showcase | 1 Comment
Hello! Thanks for Swinging by. I have an awesome Engagement session to share featuring Demi and Ife. I love E-sessions because its a great ice breaker. On this shoot it was all fun from the start. It’s very obvious Demi & Ife are not only in love but really good friends. Demi is an Emory Alumni and the couple also first met at a University (Story below). Having the shoot at a university made perfect sense :). I had so much fun on this shoot and truly can’t wait for the wedding. Check out their story below and some images from the day. Enjoy!
We met on a beautiful warm summer’s eve on the sandy shores in a remote beach on an island far, far away, watching the waves as they fell and rose in rhythmic cadence…well, not quite, lol…
We first met in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in a classroom where Demi and her colleagues were preparing for her finals. I was definitely not spying on her again but let’s just say it was not my first time seeing her there. A very good and mutual friend helped setup the first formal meeting in her dorm room. I came dressed to impress on that special day, stepped into her room with a rehearsed confidence and the rest is history.
Demi is my best friend and has been a pillar of support, which makes life very fulfilling. We enjoy travelling together, watching television series back to back to back and just sitting around doing nothing but enjoying each other’s company. It’s been nothing short of a blessing to have spent the past 8 years with my best friend and confidant, whom I cherish and admire deeply. Demi is the love of my life; strong, intelligent, God fearing lady and I am extremely proud of her and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

Hello Folks! Mathilda and Osa had a traditional engagement ceremony the day before their wedding and it was a good one. As we know a Nigerian wedding is not official until the traditional ceremony is completed. I always enjoy seeing these traditional ceremonies as it reminds me how things have been done for ages. Congrats to Mathilda & Osa! Enjoy some pictures from the day.

There were so many memorable moments like Osa’s vow to Mathilda that had everyone laughing and tearing up at the same time. I also loved their coordinated entrance dance! It definitely did not feel like I was working..it felt more like I was celebrating with this awesome couple. Congratulations guys! I wish you nothing but happiness and a blessed married life. Check out some images from the day. Enjoy!

The numbers on the BM’s shirt indicates how long each BM’s has known the bride & 78 is the total years combined. Brilliant idea!
MOH & BFF quick shout out 🙂

October 15, 2013 | showcase, Surprise Proposals | 1 Comment
Hello guys. Switching gears today. I have a surprise proposal to share 🙂 . While Surprise proposals are nice they can be very tricky. As a photographer you don’t want to be the person screwing up the surprise..lol. So stealth mode photography was definitely in effect:)! Kiyu contacted me a few days earlier about his plan and wanted to propose to Jina at their favorite park with the city as a backdrop. The only issue is it had been raining so much around that time and was looking like it would rain on the day he wanted to propose. Thankfully on the day of the proposal the light drizzling rain stop right as the plan was set in motion. Congrats to Kiyu and Jina. I wish you guys the best. Check out some images from the day. Enjoy.
