Hello Everyone! Thank you for visiting my blog. I truly appreciate it. In a few days Andrea and Brandon will tie the knot. Can’t wait. I had a really great time with Andrea who flew in from Hawaii and Brandon who flew in from Houston. They are a very fun and laid back couple and i loved their chemistry. Check out some images from their shoot and their love story. Enjoy!

Brandon and I met on an online dating app. What is interesting is that I had almost given up using the app as a way to meet new people. Brandon happened to be the last person that messaged me before I deactivated my account. We conversed for about a month before we finally decided to go on a date. Our first date was at a restaurant and bar in San Antonio, TX. We instantly hit it off. After dating for about 3 months, I got word of an excellent opportunity that required me to relocate to Hawaii. Brandon and I decided we would commit to a long distance relationship.
After over a year being apart, we decided we would take a cruise. The night before we were to sail off, Brandon took me to a restaurant in the Pearl District of San Antonio. After dinner, Brandon suggested that we walk around and take in the beautiful scenery. During our walk, Brandon shared his plans in life and how he wanted me to be a part of it. He also expressed our deep love for each other. As we headed back to the car to return home, Brandon stopped once more. This time, he was on one knee with a white box in his hands, and the words “Will you marry me,” came out of his mouth. Filled with joy and excitement, I shouted “YES!”

Hello friends! I hope you had a wonderful Labor day weekend! Excited to share Jocelyn and Eddie’s engagement session on the blog today. From the very first time i spoke to Jocelyn over the phone i felt a very natural and positive vibe from her. I met Jocelyn and Eddie for the first time on the day of the shoot and i truly enjoyed hanging with them. Looking forward to celebrating with this amazing couple on NYE! Check out their love story below and images below. Enjoy!

Jocelyn and Eddie first met while attending college. After a year of developing a friendship their feelings for each other blossomed into true love. Their Atlanta engagement session features casual outdoor and formal city settings that compliment not only their stylish attire, but also their unwavering love and affection for each other.  They are looking forward to saying “I do” in front of family and friends, and starting their new life together as husband and wife.

Eddie and Jocelyn met in 2012 while visiting with her sorors the institution that Eddie attended, Fort Valley State University. Fort Valley football was playing Clark Atlanta University (where Jocelyn attended school). After about a year of knowing each other, they starting dating in August of 2013. In 2016, Eddie and his twin, Edward, turned 26 on the 26th. This was an extra special year so they (Eddie, Edward, Latasha, & Jocelyn) decided to celebrate in Atlantic City, NJ. Tasha and Jocelyn worked to make sure they had activities planned and that dinner reservations were made. Little did Jocelyn know, the whole time, everyone was going behind her back making plans of their own. He reached out to her parents before they left because Eddie said this would be the only time he would be able to surprise Jocelyn because she is so nosey. They reached out to two of Jocelyn’s best friends and cousin in New York to make sure she had family and friends there to enjoy the moment with them. As they were sitting down, getting ready to eat dinner, Jocelyn heard a voice behind her and instantly knew it was her best friend. She jumped up from the table, stunned. She didn’t even notice that her other friend slid in the seat beside her. Jocelyn looked over to see her and she ran. Eddie comes behind her, trying to get her to come back into the room. She immediately starts to cry because she thought he was surprising her with her own friends on his birthday. To her surprise, it was something totally different. He proceeds to tell Jocelyn, “Relax, I have something that will make you happy.” With her parents and all of her close friends there, and on Facetime, Eddie pulled the ring out, got down on one knee, and asked Jocelyn to marry him. She happily said “YES!”

Hello friends! Thank you for dropping by. Excited to share Ann and Emmanuel’s engagement shoot today! When Ann told me about her idea for her engagement shoot i was stoked about the opportunity.  I love it when couples incorporate important aspects of their life into an engagement shoot. We (and the dog 🙂 ) had so much fun at the Atlanta Silverbacks Stadium & Grand Hyatt Buckhead . Can’t wait to celebrate with this amazing couple next month. Check out their story and images below. Enjoy!

How they met:

Emmanuel and I met at Jubilee Christian Church International during my high school senior year in 2007 and we would say hi to each other at church in passing and had several mutual friends. In November 2014, I went to Nigeria to visit my grandmother and family and was discouraged from going by myself from so many people. I prayed to God for safe journey mercies and if I made it to Nigeria nad back to the U.S. safely, I will give a testimony. When I got back from Nigeria safe and sound, I gave a testimony at church about my trip. After church service, Emmanuel approached me and told me he heard my testimony and asked about my trip to Nigeria. I told him about my trip and we had a great conversation. Later that week, he asked me for my number on Facebook. From then on we got to know each other better.
About the proposal:
Emmanuel and I went ring shopping in November 2016, we designed and picked out a ring together. Emmanuel original plan was to propose to me on my graduation day December 14,2016. He had the jewelry store call me and convinced me that I wouldn’t be able to get my ring, which Emmanuel was the master mind behind. I was stressing about it and Emmanuel didn’t want me to stress since I was approaching my final exam.So on December 3,2016, Emmanuel prepared a nice delicious meal after I had a rough shift at work and proposed to me with the ring of my dreams, which earlier he had me under the impression I was not getting and I cried and said YES! I thank God for blessing me with Emmanuel, he truly is my other half that I cannot live without and look forward to our happily ever after.

Carter Center | Japanese Garden | Midtown Atlanta Engagement Session | Fotos by Fola

Hello! Thank you for coming by the blog. I hope the new month is off to a great start for you. Today, i am excited to share Danielle and Gboluma’s Engagement session which was also featured on Munaluchi Bride! I truly love Danielle and Gboluma’s love story! Gboluma was serving in Japan while they were dating and despite the massive distance between each other they made it work. I had so much fun with them both during the shoot.  The shoot took place at the Japanese Garden at The Carter Center. Since Gboluma Served in Japan it just made sense and i really loved how it came out.  I can’t wait to share their beautiful wedding pictures as well . Stay tuned. Check out the couples story below. Enjoy!

How it all started!

On December 28, 2012 Gboluma was introduced to Danielle, by a neutral friend, Alex Williams at a gathering held at Danielle’s Parent’s home. Gboluma and Danielle saw each other as great eye candy but both did not allow their egos to admit to their desires.

The second time they met again at a party and action was taken! Gboluma couldn’t let Danielle leave without getting her phone number. Danielle did not admit this but she couldn’t wait to hear from him. Once again, both of their big egos got in the way and they briefly texted after their encounter.

The third encounter occurred on January 19, 2013 at a friend’s birthday party. Gboluma remembers asking Danielle’s friend about her coming to the party and looking forward to seeing her. Danielle remembers them staying at the party for an hour and spending the rest of the night talking in her car. They both admit that their conversation was one of the best conversations in a long time.

Because of such great interest, Danielle admits that she couldn’t wait for their next encounter. She drove forty-five minutes and invited Gboluma to assist her in picking out a pair of workout sneakers. It was at the store that Gboluma realized that he was interested in more than a friendship when he saw the salesperson flirt with Danielle. A month later, Gboluma sent Danielle a Valentine gift to her home and invited her to a Valentine’s day party. The very next day he asked her to be his girlfriend. The Rest is History!!!!!!!!

After spending a year away from Danielle in Okinawa, Japan, Gboluma returned home with the intention of proposing to Danielle on a carriage ride but due to Danielle being fashionably late, that plan failed. Gboluma stated he quickly when into panic mode, not knowing what other ideas he could come up with in such a short time. The next day, Danielle expressed her love for heights and suggested that they take the helicopter tour of Blue Ridge Mountains. Gboluma quickly agreed and planed his proposal. With a big smile, Danielle said she honestly thought Gboluma was afraid when he was pulling the ring out his pocket. She said YES! The Rest is History!!!!!!!!
