Hello everyone and happy Memorial Day! I have not posted an E-session in a while so i am happy to share this awesome one with you.  Carliss and Wayne met each other for the first time at Piedmont Park and have been together since. So keep in mind if you are single and you are walking around a park you might just bump into your future partner :). I really enjoyed hanging with Carliss and Wayne.  Congrats on your engagement guys! Looking forward to your wedding in September! Below is a short story of how it all started and some pictures from the day. Enjoy!

Carliss and Wayne met on a hot and sunny day sitting on a bench at Piedmont Park on Father’s Day, June 9, 2007. They spent hours talking and laughing that day and have been inseparable ever since. After sharing nearly 5 years of blissfulness together, Wayne decided that it was time to pop the question, so he did very unexpectedly on one knee in their bedroom on Valentines Day 2012.

Monet & Justin love the city so we took a walk around the city and got some great shots in the process. I actually look forward to these walks because i get to chat with clients about everything like who started the stalking to get the love train rolling 🙂 . In this case according  to Monet it was all Justin..lol. Monet & Justin are two down to earth people and i had a fun time hanging with them. Monet & Justin will tie the knot early next year and while it seems like a long time away i am definitely looking forward to it. Check out some pics from the day. Enjoy!

Hey guys. Thanks for swinging by. I have a super fun couple on the blog today.  I know i always say the couples i feature are fun but honestly i think i only attract fun and cool couples which i am extremely grateful for :).  Can you imagine taking pictures of people that are not remotely interested?? lol. Rasheeda and Antonio are two people i would always want to hang out with because they are really great people to be around. It was supposed to rain on the day of the shoot but it turned out to be one beautiful spring day. We started off at the historic Centennial Olympic Park Atlanta then proceeded to the ultra sleek Glenn Hotel rooftop Sky Lounge. We really had an amazing time and i can’t wait for the big day in May.  Check out the story on how it all started + the proposal story below.  Enjoy!

Antonio and I met 5 years ago through one of my best friends and her husband.  He had his eyes on me for a while but never said anything.  One day we were at a mutual friend’s cookout and he asked me on a date.  The timing was just right for the both of us and we have been inseparable ever since. We are truly a perfect fit for each other. We compliment each other like peanut butter & jelly, wine and cheese, and like sugar and Kool-Aid… Lol!  We’re just better together.  On July 23, 2011, Antonio told me that he was taking me out to celebrate my birthday and that my BFF and her Husband (the same couple we met through) were coming also.  We went to the Botanical Garden where he popped the question in the rose garden.  It was a total surprise!  After the initial shock and the tears… I said yes J. We’re excited and look forward to the next chapter in our lives that will start on May 5, 2012, that’s when we 2 will become 1!!!

Hello guys! I just got back in town today from short family vacation to Nigeria. Well, i am back and ready to share this next post.

Meet Katie and John. These two are true love birds and you can feel it in the images. On this shoot i wanted to focus on them and allow the genuine emotions convey their amazing love story.  Katie and John love the theatre so we incorporated a few “play” props into the shoot.  I am really looking forward to the wedding in June. Check out a short story about the couple and a few images from the session. Enjoy!

We met in July 2009 in a community theatre production. Over the next two months we kept running into each other in the theatre. In September we were to the point where we were constantly talking when we weren’t at the theatre and on Sunday, October 4 he asked me out on a date. Fast forward to Tuesday, October 4, 2011, our two year anniversary. We were exchanging presents before we both had to go to work that day. I had parent teacher conferences that day so I had to be at work earlier than usual. Before he gave me my present, he told me to close my eyes. When I opened them, he was down on one knee, asking me to marry him! It was 5:30 in the morning and we were still in our pajamas. He told me he just couldn’t wait and he wanted something to make me smile while I was at work that day. It definitely did!

Hello and TGIF! My apologies for the short break 🙂 . It has been surprisingly busy early this year. I have a lot in store and can’t wait to share with you all.

Meet yet another awesome couple Onyema and Acie. The story of their relationship is a true love story. They first met each other while in high school and through all the years they managed to keep the love going.  Onyema and Acie love the city of Atlanta so they wanted their pictures show the amazing Atlanta backdrop and some great locations. We started off at Piedmont park which has a great Atlanta skyline view.  Then we proceeded to the Fabulous Fox Theatre and The world of Coke. Onyema and Acie love to play pool so we hit up Dave & Busters which was really fun. This was a really interesting and fun e-session.  Below is a short story about the couple and some pictures from the shoot. Enjoy.

Onyema and Acie have been going strong for 11 years and counting. They were high-school sweethearts, college lovers and now soon-to-be life-long partners. Acie first met Onyema at the local skating rink where she worked while in high school. From the moment they met they became almost inseparable and quickly became best friends! Wherever you saw Onyema you saw Acie and wherever you saw Acie you saw Onyema.  Their love for one another grew stronger over the years and on May 2, 2011, Acie asked Onyema the magic question…to spend the rest of her life with him.  The answer, of course was yes!”

Hello all! Happy Friday! Another great e-session coming your way 🙂

I know i always say these sessions are fun but seriously they really are. Amber and David are two really funny people which obviously made it a mad fun e-session. It’s only fitting that their first date was at a comedy club. I could not stop laughing throughout the entire session. I am honestly blessed with the best clients in the world.  Enjoy!

The untold story..lol

David and Amber met one Summer day at a mutual friend’s home. They and others, were invited for a summer cookout. They became “facebook friends” soon after. However, they wouldn’t actually start dating until after attending that same friend’s dinner party that Winter. Two weeks after the dinner party, they went on their first date to Uptown Comedy Club. They both say they knew fairly quickly that each other was “the one.” About a year and a half later, David asked Amber to a fancy dinner at the Sundial on a “random” Tuesday evening. At the end of the dinner, he presented her with a scrapbook that he diligently put together. The scrapbook was complete with photos of his parents and her parents whom he drove six hours to meet with to ask permission to propose. To Amber’s surprise, the last page of the scrap book was a sign which stated “Will You Marry Me?” After crying and unbelief, she, of course, said, YES! The two live in Atlanta and plan to get married in the city, June 2013.

Where the laughter and love all started.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year for all of us :). I am excited about 2012 and truly looking forward to capturing all the wonderful moments to come!

To kick off 2012 blogging, i would like to introduce to you Chichi and Emeka! I could not have asked for a better couple to start off the year. We had such a great time on this session at Atlantic Station. I’ve always believed friendship is one of the most important keys to success in a relationship. It goes a long way in keeping the relationship strong through everything we encounter in life. The level of friendship Chichi and Emeka share together is very obvious in the images. Congrats guys!! Looking forward to the big day already! Check out a few pics from the session and a little about the couple. Enjoy!

How it all started:

We started off as friends (African Christian Fellowship) while we were both in high school. As the years went by, we grew up and everyone went off to college and lost touch. Years later, we both decided to join Facebook, as it was the thing to do. As luck would have it, Emeka ran across my profile and invited me to be his Facebook friend.  From Facebook messages, to online chatting, to long phone conversations… the rest is history. These past six years have been such a blessing. Despite all the challenges and triumphs we have encountered, the one thing that has remained consistent is our friendship. We genuinely are, and will always be, the best of friends. We are so grateful to have the blessing of spending each and every day together for the rest of our lives..

This was hilarious. The folks at the location actually thought Emeka was planning on proposing. Hence the acting…lol

Eternal friendship 🙂

Hello! Hope you all had a great thanksgiving :). Looking forward to Xmas and the new year already!

When Nya told me about her idea for a “firsts” e-session i thought that was a brilliant idea. Nya & Abdul first met, went on a date, and kissed around the same area so we took pictures at all the different locations. It was definitely fun and exciting. I really had a great time on this session and i am looking forward to the wedding next year. Check out a few pictures from the day. Enjoy

This is where it all first started (Ebenezer Baptist Church). Nya said it was raining the day they first ran into each other outside church.

First date spot

This is where Abdul made it  official..lol
