Erica and Michael Music Inspired Engagement Shoot

Hey friends! Thank you for visiting my blog. Today, i have Erica and Michael on the blog! When we were brainstorming for the perfect engagement shoot concept one thing that came up was Michael and Erica’s love for music. I immediately started researching locations that would bring the idea to life. I found a disco wall and boom box wall and knew it would be perfect. Erica and Michael went to the Georgia Aquarium for a date when they first met so we incorporated that in to the shoot. Lastly, Since they are huge falcons fans we wrapped up the shoot with the Mercedes Benz stadium as a backdrop. I had soooo much fun on this shoot and looking forward to capturing their special day. Hello and thanks for swinging by. I have a great wedding to share today. Kourtnie and Bobby (Check out their fun s-session) tied the knot last month and i am so glad i was part of it . Kourtnie and Bobby are more than just clients they are good friends of mine. I defintiely felt like i celebrated with them as a guest and not as a hired vendor lol 🙂 . I am truly blessed with couples that know how to have a good time on their wedding day. It’s easy to forget and get carried away with all the craziness of a wedding, but on the day of it should be all FUN with no holding back! That is exactly how Kourtnie and Bobby’s wedding went down. The wedding ceremony took place at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Lilburn and reception at the Georgia Aquarium. Congrats guys! I wish you a blessed and happy married life! Hello Everyone. Thanks for swinging by. I have another amazing “Cultural Fusion” wedding to share. Nya is Kenyan and Nigerian (Mom is from Kenya and dad is from Nigeria) and Abdul is Nigerian. (Check out their E-session) It’s no secret that i am a huge fan of cultural weddings so when Nya & Abdul first contacted me i was excited about the opportunity. Their goal was to have a wedding that has a Kenyan, Nigerian and an American feel to it. To the average couple that would be hard to accomplish but not for Nya & Abdul because they brilliantly merged everything together! The wedding was well planned and had lots of surprises that had guests engaged and excited. The wedding ceremony was held at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church Atlanta and the reception at the Georgia Aquarium which is an awesome venue. I really had a great time shooting this wedding. Everyone had a blast regardless of where they were from and that’s how it should be. A big congrats to Nya & Abdul! Thank you for trusting me to tell the story of your wonderful wedding.
