I had the privilege of being part of Rasheeda and Antonio’s special day (Check out their e-session). It was an intimate wedding filled with so many happy moments. There was so much love at this wedding. During the toast/speech time everyone that held the mic to speak teared up!  The wedding was held at the Atrium. Thank you guys for allowing me to be part of your big day. I wish you both a happy married life!

Antonio and the guys looked incredibly sharp. They really looked like they should be in a movie..lol. In honor of their coolness i made the set below all black and white 🙂

I just love how rasheeda’s mom was in the mirror reflection.

Well, Antonio is officially no longer part of the cool fellas crew..(Don’t worry Antonio married life is SWEET!)

Kara & Brian got married at the historic Georgia Railroad Freight Depot. This place was built in 1869 so you can imagine how much character this venue has. One of the many reasons i love shooting weddings. I mean how often do you get to shoot at a place that’s more than 140 years old? I had so much fun at this wedding. The Frat guys and Sorors represented. Kara & Brian’s entrance dance was one to remember. So many great memories. Thanks you guys for allowing me to be a part of your big day! Congrats once again. Check out some pics from the day. Enjoy 🙂

Another super fun and colorful wedding. Remember Chichi & Emeka’s Engagement Session? It my first post of 2012 and i just knew their wedding would be amazing. It was a day filled with joy and i really had a great time with the entire wedding train. It’s really important to have people that genuinely care about the bride and groom on the train. This wedding was fun and exciting from the time i arrived till the very end. The ceremony took place at the The Tabernacle Church and reception at the Schwartz-Goldstein Hall @ the Temple.  Thank you so much Chichi and Emeka for allowing me to tell the story of your day. I wish you both a happy married life. Check out some images from the day. Enjoy!

Hello everyone!
last week I put up Lauret and Tosin’s wedding. Next i would like to share their traditional engagement ceremony. This was definitely a great and fun ceremony! Coincidentally, I am curently in Nigeria so this is an authentic Nigerian post. Congrats to Lauret and Tosin! Enjoy some images from the day.

This is where they bring out a fake bride and ask the groom if that is his bride or not? Tosin passed this test with flying colors!

Here comes the “real” bride…lol

Cassandra & Shelton tied the knot in January. I’ve actually never shot a wedding in January before. This was a really good one to start the year with. The wedding had a 19th century vintage and historic feel to it. Maybe it was because the church they got married at was established in 1898 (Inman Park United Methodist Church)? or it could be because the reception was held at The Trolley Barn (service and housing facility for Atlanta’s first electric street railway line) which opened in 1889? Either way i bought into it and i felt like i time traveled..lol. To reflect the character of the wedding i included a lot of Black and white/Sepia pictures which gives you a sense of the vintage time period. Shelton is a big time Fraternity guy and Cassandra is a Sorority gal so you can image what they got into. At the end of the day this was a really fun, emotional and entertaining wedding. Congrats to Cassandra and Shelton! I wish you both a blessed and happy married life. Check out some pics from the day.

This was the coolest father/daughter dance i’ve ever seen..

As the wedding season begins to wind down i start to secretly hope the weddings i cover are not just fun but also unique. This definitely was not an issue at  Salethia and LeVar’s wedding.  I had some non-traditional shot ideas for Salethia and LeVar and they were down for it with no hesitation. I was not surprised because they were so great on the e-session we shot a few months back. The bridal party also brought soo much fun to this wedding. I love the urban feel of the wedding and really happy that i was a part of it. Congrats guys!! Check out some images from the day. Enjoy 🙂

When Tobi first contacted me about her wedding she was pretty sure of what she wanted from her wedding photographer and i love that about her.  Tobi is such a great bride and i honestly can’t ask for anything better. From their e-session i could feel the strong love Tobi and Daniel have for each other. I knew the wedding would be a day filled with nothing but happiness. I am glad they allowed me to be a part of it. Congrats guys!  I truly wish you the best! Check out some pictures from the day.  Enjoy.

Aleshia & Justin happily tied the knot in the beautiful city of Savannah. It’s was an intimate wedding that had the same character as the city it was held in. I really had a great time from the beginning to the end especially our walk around the city after the ceremony.  Congrats Aleshia & Justin and thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day. Wish you both the best. Check out some pics from the day.

Susan and Azu tied the knot a few weeks ago and i know for sure they had an amazing time doing so. It really seemed everyone just wanted to have blast. I enjoyed every moment of this colorful and fun Nigerian wedding. Thanks Christina for assisting on this wedding. Below is a short story of how the couple met. This is Azu’s side of the story..lol.  Enjoy!

I was invited to a game night by one of my friends.  While socializing, this beautiful, fine, young woman walked in.  I remember that she was wearing a lovely green shirt, jeans, and sexy heels.  I noticed her immediately, but I didn’t say anything.  As the night went on and we played Taboo, I saw that she had wit and was pretty good at the game…but she seemed quiet and demure. I didn’t talk to her that night, but when I got home I just couldn’t let the image of her go.  I called my friends to get her name and information.  When I received her information, I looked her up on Facebook.  We exchanged numbers. At the time, I was traveling to Dallas on a weekly basis and working weekends.  We talked on the phone almost daily.  We had a lot in common, but I yearned to take her out on a date.  When we did finally have our first date, it was amazing.  The conversation never ended and we had such a blast, that I never wanted to leave.  On that day, I knew we were meant to be together.
